Vice President, Database Marketing

Ken Palma has more than 25 years of experience in management information systems and applications, database modeling and analytics, marketing measurement and tracking, and other marketing and information technology solutions. As Vice President of Database Marketing, he is responsible for delivering data-driven services and solutions to clients, leveraging proprietary consumer, business and client databases as well as partnerships with syndicated data providers. These solutions generate sophisticated analytics used to support targeted direct marketing campaigns that power direct mail, e-mail, telemarketing and multichannel communications.
Palma oversees a team of 25 professional marketing specialists, data and statistical analysts, account managers, and technology and production staff at Direct Group’s Piscataway, N.J., facility. This team provides support to Direct Group clients in a wide array of industries including financial services, healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, telecom, technology, retail, publishing, automotive and gaming.
Prior to joining Direct Group, Palma was founder of Enterprise Marketing Solutions, Inc. (EMSi), a database marketing company that was acquired by Direct Group in 2007. Before founding EMSi, Palma founded and managed two other marketing analytics and consultancy firms. Prior to that, he provided information technology support for AT&T marketing services.
Palma received a bachelor’s degree in physics from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J., and has a master’s degree in environmental sciences from Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J.
